제21회 장두건미술상 수상작가 안효찬 《친근하면서도, 낯선》
포항시립미술관은 제21회 장두건미술상 수상작가 안효찬의 개인전 《친근하면서도, 낯선》을 개최합니다. 포항 출생의 안효찬(1990-) 작가는 조각과 설치를 통해 자본주의 체제 안에서 작동하는 욕망의 구조와 폭력의 메커니즘을 탐구해왔습니다. 이번 전시는 디오라마 형식으로 재구성된 도시 풍경을 통해 건설과 폐허 사이 불안정한 장면들을 펼쳐내며, 현대 문명이 어떤 희생 위에 세워졌는지를 드러냅니다. 빛이 존재할 때 그림자가 드리워지듯, 문명의 비약은 자연의 소멸과 함께 나타납니다. 작가는 이러한 관계에서 출발해, 그 구조 속에서 우리가 지금 어디에 서 있는지를 질문합니다. 문명의 이중성을 마주하며 우리 시대를 성찰하는 의미 있는 시간에 여러분을 초대합니다. 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.
The Pohang Museum of Steel Art is pleased to present Familiar Yet Strange, a solo exhibition by Ahn Hyo Chan, recipient of the 21st Chang Dookun Art Award.
A Pohang native, artist Ahn Hyo Chan (b. 1990) uses sculpture and installation to explore the structures of desire operating within capitalist systems and the mechanisms of violence. This exhibition illuminates the reconstructed urban landscape through a diorama format and reveals the sacrifices upon which modern civilization has been constructed. Just as shadows are cast in the presence of light, the great leaps of civilization emerge alongside nature's erasure. From this relationship, Ahn asks where we now stand within such a structure.
